Experienced, Qualified
Cam McCall is a born and raised Texan and a fifth-generation Collin County Native, a dedicated husband and father, and a proud Christian conservative Republican. Cam was born here, raised here, and married here. Now Cam is running to be your next Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector.
Born and raised in Plano, Cam has deep roots in the Collin County area. Cam grew up attending First Baptist Plano where he learned the Christian values that he holds dearly today. Cam attended Plano Senior High School and later earned his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco. Today, Cam and his wife of 13 years, Carly, are proud to live in McKinney. Cam raised his son, Hunter, in McKinney and now Hunter is studying Aerospace Engineering and Finance at Texas A&M University in College Station.

Cam has deep experience in the field of property taxes, having worked in the tax field for 12 years, including his current work as a supervisor at the Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office. In addition, Cam has a passion for service, which has led him to seek out ways to be more involved in his community. This experience has helped him develop a deep understanding of the issues facing our community and our county. Cam is a former member of the McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission, the McKinney Board of Adjustments, the Plano Board of Adjustments, and a graduate of Leadership Plano. Cam also served as President and Vice President for the North Texas Chapter of Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO).
As a proud Collin County native and experienced property tax professional, Cam is ready to tackle the challenges facing the Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office from his first day on the job. With Cam McCall, there will be no on-the-job training; he’s ready to get to work for you from the moment he’s elected.
